Hi Guys


Thought id say hello bought myself a L plate satin red turbo mechanically its sound underside is in really good condition just needs a respray as its looking a little worse for wear going for the original look been wanting one for a while love my vauxhalls got a pristine calibra turbo that ive owned for 12 years which im busy finishing off a revamp then the cav is next

welcome to the CTOC mate, very nice cars, did the cav come from Blyth, if so i think it used to belong to Stomps, from the old site.

Thanks for the welcome guys yes mate the cav did come from blyth my mate bought it about 6 month ago and i eventually persuaded him to sell it to me!

Dont know where to start lol!! Completely stripped the engine bay, seam welded, smoothed and then painted. Powder coated everthing. All new gaskets and seals in the engine and gearbox. In fact just about everthing has been replaced. Bodykit has been removed. Just got the back end to strip and powder coat!

Alright fella, another in the north east ads. We are taking over! Think I seen your Calibra as a profile pic on vauxsausage? Correct me if im wrong.

Welcome bud, just flicked through your calibra build thread, wow what a car ! Did you get it finished after the re-spray ?
Cavalier Turbo... the best 4 x 4 x far... when it works...

Thanks mate the cars still in that state got building a z20let combo van just finished that so gonna get the calibra sorted then start on the cav too many projects on the go lol! :lol:

just read through you WIP thread on the calibra ste, some exellent work gone on there, i thought my cav engine bay was clean, but that cally bay puts mine to shame.
