Hiya folks, some of you may of seen my Cav Turbo up for sale on PH & fleabay.

Decided its going nowhere now.

I know alot of people on here are on CTOR, so will know the history and previous owner of my Cav.

I'll post some a couple of pics anyway.

Just bought myself a winter hack, Jetta Gti. So i can now take "Trevor" (The Cav) off the road for winter.

Hopefully going to lock the transfer box and change a few odd and sods over the winter, get him ready for the show season next year.

Its my mates Turbo rep.. Its a Derv Turbo.. You only know when he starts it up though.

Thats the very first one I went to look at a few years ago when I was after buying my first Cavvy Turbo. I turned it down !!!!!
Hope the problems regarding non starting when it felt like it have been sorted !

Its had loads of work done to it over the yrs. It starts 1st time everytime

Over the winter i'm going to put it in my mates unit and have a play.

Gives me something to do when we have another 4ft of snow.

Been to a RR today, the Cav has been misbehaving somewhat recently.

It has been stuttering under load when on partial boost.

My old C20let Nova did the same, so i knew it was the coil or leads.

Unfortunately, the leads didn't turn up till after i had run.

It made 178 BHP @4790 Revs.

Then it started to stutter so i couldn't get a clean run.

Came home, put the new leads on, (a day too late really. Thanks Mr Postman)

Changed the coil, fitted my manual boost controller.

It happily boosts to 1 bar, and has no more stutters.

Can't wait for the RR on here to actually see what it should make.
