Hello fellow cav nutters
Hi all, my names dave from liverpool i am a bit of a vauxhall nut currently i own 2 astra gtes, one which is my main daily driver which is fitted with a c20let
i also have a cav turbo which i bought off a guy from migweb february last year from london minus the engine/box (was told it went in a vectra )
Its a m reg smoke grey 128k 4 owners from new which i am currently doing a bare shell
restoration on it,
i will start a resto thread so you can see where im upto.... Dave

Welcome to the site, looks like a nice solid shell you've got anyway. I'd love do do a complete strip down like that. It should be mint when its finished

thats quite a huge hole to fill in the chassis leg but having it up on its side like that makes it much easier to work on eh

Daddy Cavs vectra engine came out of a calibra.

yes its nice and easy to work on its side, the legs werent that bad to honest only a couple of small holes but i chose to cut all the bad metal out and sand blast the rest,then fabricate replacements that way it should be solid when finished i hope
