Hi everyone!

Post by Jimmy2Turbos »

Finally pulled my finger out and got a Cavvy Turbo a few days ago, so thought I should say hi!
Badly wanted one in my younger days  but never had enough cash.
Had a GSI 4x4 once, long time ago, but got bitten by the transfer box after 3 months. Then it was robbed from garage I bought it from that was fixing it. Suspicious...?

Anyway, got there in the end, and here she is, all safely tucked up out the rain:

And with her grand-daughter:

The Vectra's for every day, the Cav's for fun! And spending.
Hmm... Vectra makes the Cav look small... :o

Putting her on my mate's rolling road on Tuesday, see how many horses broke free over the years.

Great to be here! :D

Pretty much standard, far as I know. Been dropped about 30mm all round, 4WD locked and accumulator + control board removed, dump valve (recirc blocked off), scorpion back box and a top end rebuild.
Most of the kit still seems to work. Aircon removed by a previous owner and the back windows stick a bit, some dash illumination not working, but fingers crossed so far those are the only faults I've noticed. Pretty good for 18 yrs old.
