I've been into vauxhall's since before I can remember to be honest. My parents had a mk2 Cavalier, later the old Belmont and then a 1989 Cavalier which was my first car. After mating with a Fiat box thing and a mk1 Golf I had an Lsi for a couple of years before I bought an SRi redtop Cavalier ( you see a theme ). In fairness after I bought this car no other has compared. I owned a couple of calibras, an ecotec CDX, a GSi astra ( which was very good ) but none of them really felt the same.
Three years ago I moved away from vauxhall's and bought a 330Ci BMW which I have loved every minute but it all comes back to the faithful cavalier. The plan is to sell the 330Ci after the summer and pick up a Cavalier Turbo for my toy car ( I have a mk5 Astra SRi 1.8 xp as the family wagon ). I don't want to buy the first one that comes along as i really want one for keeps. I have previously been a member/ still am really on migweb and vxon.
Look forward to getting to know you fellow enthusiasts.
Bob
